OBT2 Performance at Your School Assembly | K-12

In this performance program featuring OBT2 (the junior company of Oregon Ballet Theatre), students have the chance to step into the daily world of a working dancer. OBT2 dancers perform contemporary and classical choreography and reveal aspects of their training. A pre-performance professional development workshop is included for teachers and sets up student participation during the show. Resources for teachers are provided, including a study guide and illustrated booklet that describes ballet and theatre vocabulary and dance activities. The one-hour workshop for teachers is scheduled 1-2 weeks prior to the performance.
