Born in San Francisco, California and raised in the East Bay, Dominique Wendt received her training from the Contra Costa Ballet Centre and the San Francisco Ballet School. She spent one year as a trainee with BalletMet and two years in Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s Graduate Program before joining Sacramento Ballet in 2017, where she danced for seven seasons. Wendt has performed featured roles in works by George Balanchine (Agon and Apollo), Val Caniparoli (Ibsen’s House), Jennifer Archibald (Soar), and Marika Brussel (Glimmering) as well as Cygnets in Swan Lake, Winter Fairy in Cinderella, and Dew Drop in The Nutcracker. In 2022, Wendt graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Performing Arts from the St. Mary’s LEAP Program.
