Next up, Bunraku. This amazing form of traditional Japanese puppetry is performed with large dolls which are controlled by operators dressed in black. The dancing puppet is mesmerizing, but we’re even more intrigued by the choreographed movements of the puppeteers that work together to make it all happen. (The action gets started around :30.)
