This is an exciting time to work at Oregon Ballet Theatre (OBT), a classically-based professional ballet company established in 1989 in Portland, Oregon. The company performs an annual season of programs while participating in many community events, as well as regional and national touring. The OBT School is recognized as one of the premiere ballet schools in the country. RESPONSIBLITIES

Under the supervision of the Director of Development, the Development Associate is involved in all key functions of development operations and makes a significant contribution to achieving OBT’s fundraising goals. This position works collaboratively with the Development team in overseeing annual giving campaigns, donor stewardship events and benefits, development communications, gift processing, and strategic utilization of the Tessitura CRM database. This is a pivotal position on the team, working synchronously with staff, artists, executive leadership, and the Board while interacting closely with OBT donors and the public. The work related to this position directly supports OBT’s mission and reflects the organization’s core values and highest ethical standards. Salary begins @ $44,000 annually.
