ABOUT OBT’S TOUR TO KOREA
2011 is the second year OBT will tour to South Korea to perform George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker. This summer, OBT will perform in both Seoul and Buson - about a four-hour bus ride from Seoul. The children’s roles in The Nutcracker will be performed by local Korean children, but taught by OBT artistic staff (with the help of a translator, of course).

The Company departs Monday, July 25th for the long trip to Seoul, and returns August 15th. OBT will perform 10 shows in Seoul from July 31st to August 7th, followed by 4 performances in Buson, August 12th and 13th.

The dancers and staff will be blogging and posting to facebook while they are away – so keep an eye out for updates!
